How do i go about Setting the timer on a vaillant turbomax plus 828e?

I am having problems figuring out how to set the timer on a vaillant turbomax plus 828e, i have been through the whole manual and found nothing of any use; although, if needs be i could now probably build and fit one, however not set the timer, any help would be appreciated, to produce a pre-warmed cozy house??
