Hi guys.

I bled led my radiators and now have low pressure in my boiler. "No problem" I thought until I came to top up the water.

I have no idea how to do this as there don't appear to be any taps underneath. Could anybody tell me which bits I turn to full it up. I will try to post a couple of pictures.

Hi beckh413
There wlll be a tap by the braid hose in the second picture as this is your filling loop

You need to get the installer back to complete the pressure release pipework. It's dangerous at the moment.

Excellent thermal properties and it looks much better than thermaking or kingspan.

I turned a little knob with a screwdriver above the filling pipe on the left but nothing happened. Is there something else I need to turn as well?

whats wrong with the pressure release pipe work? (Not that I know what this even is!)

Prv should terminate outside ! Probably another valve on other end of bradded hose. Only turn in through 90d

it looks to release all over your floor. in amongst the lagging should be a tap/service valve - screwhead maybe, thats what opens the valve hopefully, turns 90 degrees to open

I have no plumbing experience so I'm really not sure what's occurring! The Worcester boiler in my old house was so easy to top up! Think I need a degree to do this.

Just to clarify: there should be a tap (or two) on the cold water mains inlet and if I turn these water should flow in?

With regards to the Prv, don't know if it makes any difference but the boiler is in the cellar.

Some of the boilers have built-in filling loop as opposed to braided flex. Remove bottom cover of boiler, good light needed for older eyes. Identify incoming cold water feed. Look for valves, may be slotted, coming of cold feed. Open both valves and watch pressure rise. Stop at 1 bar. Next time no need to remove cover as there are convenient holes once you know what you are looking for.

Not this one

Thanks everyone, I took some of the wadding off and low and behold there was a little tap....turned it and....whoooosh, the sound of running water! Can finally enjoy a warm house!!
