Hi, I’m looking for some advice on how to remove this radiator value to check if the pin is stuck. I have two similar values in the house where those radiators aren’t heating up at all. The pipe leading into the value is cold but the rest of the system is working fine.

Thanks for any help/advice!

The black knurl bit twists and then you can pop the head off

Does it lock somehow as I can’t seem to turn it?

Thanks for the reply!

Only goes one way so try the other way sorry can’t remember which way I think you have to twist towards the wall

There was a little plastic tab that needs sliding out with a small screwdriver, then it popped off nicely. Pin given a tap and it’s fired up the rads. Won’t go in and out too easily but heating is on at least. Thanks for the answer as that got me over the line!

Try some 3 in 1 oil on the pin
