holy ca ca that quoted application fee used to be 190+ or do you reckon they have added the registration fee (175) to it to make the 365, if not what a sting for new registrants

i think it is £428 to register a new firm with 1 gas operative, then roughly half of that each subsequent yr, Gas Installer mag is sent to you monthly when you are registered, or you can read it online, again after you are registered you get a password for the Gas Safe Registered Website

this is from GSR application form (april 2009, so can anyone confirm it is up)
PS VAT is now 20%​

The fees for the registration year commencing 1 April 2009 are:
Number Inc VAT @17.5% Total​

New application fee

the figures i quoted INCLUDE VAT (at 17.5%, so you will need to adjust up to the new 20% rate)

just worked it out at £438 inc the new VAT

The version of the magazine you can see on the seperate website is the current issue only. It also has some of the technical content stripped out (because the technical content is only intended for qualified and competent engineers on the Register and to discourage DIYers from viewing it as a ' how to...' guide for things they shouldn't be touching). The news section of the current issue gives the information on the fee levels.

Registered businesses can access electronic versions of all of the back copies of the magazine through the pasword controlled area of the Gas Safe Register website. There is no additional cost for this and it is available to all registered engineers - you just need to set up an online account.

best to double check with GSR, but i was told £428 by them on the phone (old VAT rate)
