Hi guys,

how much do you guys charge to change a gas run?

need to install 22mm for 15metres all under floorboards. Probably take a full day with a labourer

Your Day rate + labourer wages+ materials + mark up on labourer/materials + your profit :)

Why do you need the labourer? I'd rip it all up myself, 350 notes.

I'm really shocked that you would charge as low as that amgas, I'm not knocking you but I believe your undervalue yourself and the trade mate but more power to you

Shhh, i'm going to get him to run all my gas pipes

thats the problem their in this game now someone is happy to charge £120 doing gas on a days labour

It's not that. The area that I work in there are too many people who will get the cowboys in to sort it out. I went to a job yesterday the guy paid £100 to move a ideal isar boiler and the gas pipe was undersized and they used a cold water isolation valve to isolate the gas. It all comes down the area that you work in.

what area are you?

it can be pretty crap down my way but thats when you try to sell your business i guess

materials, labour time for installation and commissioning of appliances. 120 a days labour is common around by me. 15m of 22mm seems a long run, heat only boiler?
