Hello all

Came across a kind of filler valve I haven't see before. Wondering how you adjust it.

Anybody familiar with this one?

I don't want to experiment with it because it looks super fragile.

(Wouldn't it be great if manufacturers gave you a clue on their products as to who they are?)

Cheers

I think they don’t badge them as they are ashamed of the carp they turn out.

I can’t quite see on the photo But it looks as if the upper connection on the float is just a hole for the rod to guide in, so the adjustment must be on the bottom connection.
Does the white bit grip the rod?
Ie squeeze it, slide the rod to adjust height and then the white bit regrips in the new position? Some of the pop up wastes rods have a similar friction type adjuster.

It's like a long shepherd's crook shaped pin that hangs off the lever that closes the valve. It passes through that lug on the float. It's about 1 mm diameter. At the bottom of the pin there is a small clasp type thing that attaches this pin to the bottom of the float. It would make sense if I could remove this clasp and reattach it further up or down the pin to raise or lower the float. As I say, it's so flimsy. I have visions of breaking it and having to change the valve. Some confirmation from someone familiar with it would be good. Failing that I will have to bite the bullet and see how it turns out.

Yes I’m pretty sure you squeeze the clasp gentle, pull the rod up and then let go of the clasp and it reholds in the new position.
That sounds more than feasible. Thanks for the response.

Yes. I can confirm that's how it works. Primitive and crude although it may be. Thanks again.
