Hi,

New poster here. How do I convert kwh into cubic ft hour ? I'm asking about gas rates with an imperial meter. I know how to work metric one's fine and I can work out imperial to give me the kwh but I can't find out how to convert this to cubic ft per hour ? It's probably really easy but I've looked everywhere, online and in my taining books etc.

Thanks.

Surely if your imperial meter does one revolution that is 1 cubic ft in sa y 2 minutes
you divde 60 minutes by 2 which equals 30 cu/ft/hr

3600sec
sec per revolution equals cu/ft/hr

There's approximately 28.32 litres in a cubic foot.

You need to know the pressure in order to be able to work out how many cubic ft per hour. Methane has 55.7 kJ/g

Thankyou both.

That works out about right for a Worcester 18ri.

3600 = 65.46 cubic ft/h convert that to m3 = 1.85
55

Installation instructions say maximum 1.96.

🙂

I just couldn't figure out how to get cubic ft/h, I should know after recently being re-assesed 😱
