How to get into plumbing ?

I have completed the NVQ level 2 technical certificate in plumbing, in order to gain the full NVQ level 2 i need to work in the industry, so i am trying to get work experience to gain the full NVQ level 2 certificate, would like to hear peoples suggestions on best ways to do this and how they first got into becoming a plumber?

Have you tried asking the Joint Industrial Board for Plumbing and Mechanical Services?

They set the Plumbers pay rates and a lot more. Google it and e-mail them they might be able to tell you something.
