First time post from a newbie. I have a toilet with a Polypipe Hideaway cistern: the flush mechanism works fine but only drains about half the water from the cistern before stopping to fill up. This does not get the job done. How do I get it to empty the entire contents of the cistern into the toilet bowl before stopping and filling up again. Many thanks :)

Thanks WHPES. The flush is operated by a plain lever and it does not seem to make any difference whether I depress and release or depress and hold. Either way, depressing the lever only causes about half the water in the cistern to drain out before it stops draining.

Can you tell me how to alter the adjustments on the flush valve please - thanks.

The cistern is only draining half way as syphon is being broken at that level,
you may find a hole on the disc holder part of the syphon, this stops syphonic action,if so,it will require plugging, you may find movable/slidable cover next to hole
