Hi guys n gals, just had call from sister asking if I can come and reset her boiler which isn`t working after a 15hr power cut. From memory I think it`s a Glow worm 330 or 350, anybody know where the button would be.
Thanks in advance

From memory I think its one of those reset buttons that you need a pen or matchstick or something small to push in a little white reset button on the user controls on the front of the boiler.

Failing that, hat, turn it off then on again :)

Let us know which boiler exactly and we will be able to give the correct advice CHKing

Pretty sure the 330 is a re-branded BG boiler, just the old HXi I think. As villa tom said, it is a small reset button which you need something very small to be able to press it.

Thanks for the answers so far guys but its not working.
A friend is on site so trying to do this in a 3 way manner. It is a BG 330 and I`m told the resert switch is an on / off switch (no button found) and he has tried turning it off / on.

Im a saniflo guy and the my friend on site is a motorcycle mechanic, are you able to say more?

There is a little reset button on those boilers, you can only get to it with the tip of a pen or something very small so he could be missing it.

Many thanks to all that replied.
I`ve just been and had a look for myself and what I found was it is a BG330 with reset switch not a button and the instructions on how to reset are clearly seen on the instructions sticker when you pull down the flap to expose the switch and a stat.

When you turn the reset switch on the fan runs for a split second the stops and the little green light goes out but there is no error code the display stays showing 44.

Also I can`t understand how there is still hot-ish water at the kitchen sink when the power cut was +24 hrs ago and the power was restored around miday today and all rads are stone cold, and I have checked the program controller in the airing cupboard which appears to be working.

As before, thanks in advanced.

think this boiler has a tendency for the pcb to fail if the power gets turned off

Is there anybody in the RG41 area willing to take a look if she can`t get it sorted?
Please PM a contact name & number.
Thanks.
