Anyone fitted one of these. I have a customer who doesn't have a lot of space and am wondering if anyone can recommend an oil fired wall hung combi.

No much choice, HRM as you say or grandee. Out of the two I would say HRM but they are a bit of a pain to work on (though I haven't seen one of the condensing models yet)

I could never understand the theory behind having that clear oil line with the air bubble in it with the HRM's ? and I've had to replace the non return valves on quite a few as they seem to let air in after a while. Also there's no way to connect a two pipe system because there's only one hole for the supply pipe..

Agreed, have changed no end of the non returns on HRM's I quite like the see through flexi's on them as you can actually see when the nr v/v has failed by watching the oil run back down to the tank.

I have a customer with an HRM combi, its fine I have had to change the diaphragm and that was dead easy. With the HRM,s you know what the are with them. I wouldnt touch a Grandee.

Don't touch the Grandee, what an absolute pile of poop. Haven't fitted any hrm's but worked on a few and they seem ok. No room for an external one?
