If you read my previous posts I had a problem with a leaking outdoor tap, which was located under my kitchen sink. Thanks to advice from here I have now fixed it.
However I can now hear a drip when I put my head under the sink but I have no idea where it is.

The stop tap has a little drip but the plumber said that will stop in time. However the sound of the drip is out of time with the stop tap so I know it's not that. I can't feel any wet patches or see any sign of it so I'm rather confused.

It almost sounds as though it's in the wall but I don't know - might just be me thinking the worst. We have had loads of rain today so don't know if it is just something to do with that. Any ideas???

are u sure its not from leaking stop tap even though drips out of time could be running along pipe or something and dripping elsewhere. Get plumber back in to fix leaking stop tap. It will stop in time yeh right! whens that when it all cruds up if your lucky or when your units rotten and falls apart. A leaks a leak and needs fixing. apart from that get a torch and have a bloody good look. take kick boards off bottem of unit and have a look for dampness could be leaking from something behind backboard off unit

If leaks fixed themselves we would all be down the road, just like my vans fill themselves with derv !

could be waste trap and overflow, take them of and test. the sound resonates in the large plastic bore.

If the waste from the sink runs into a combined drain outside that also takes the roof water down pipe it could also be water dripping down the downspout and echoing in the waste pipe. I thought I had a leak under my sink a year back. Turned out that when I had my head under the sink it was the fridge I could hear.

Whereabouts is the stop tap leaking from? I have known low pressure systems to self-heal after a few days but not a mains supply. (My toilet cistern connection had a very slight leak. Probably two drips per hour. That stopped after 2 days and ha been fine ever since. Totally dry).

Whereabouts is the stop tap leaking from? Is it from the connections or the tap head?

To check for leaks under units use kitchen roll as a tell-tale.
