Hello,
I am stumped on this after spending hours trying and retrying to make resolve a leak. I installed an RKF CWF028-MB bathroom Faucet fixture. I can't get it to stop leaking between the jam nut and threads on the drain tailpiece. I've included two pictures. Everything else is fine. I've installed sink fixtures before so this isn't a new experience for me. There is no standing water in the sink and yet it drips for a long time afterward. It seems that there is some play in the bolt when I screw it in but I've used plenty of sealing tape. It is also plenty tight. I don't know how the water is pooling outside the drain but inside the sink (or how it got there). The flange appears to be sealed well against the sink bottom. I used the silicone sealing washer that came with the kit. For some reason, the instructions said not to use plumbers putty as it might damage it?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
