Haha, yep sounds like they want you to sign it off and correct the leak.

I had one the other day where a new boiler and unvented had been fitted. He wanted me to fit a nest and wire the boiler/controls and cylinder in at the same time. Fat chance of that happening. I’m not that kind of engineer.

After a few emails back and forward
They have had a house renovated and the builder ran away, builders plumber finished off the job.
They want it checked over to make sure its safe.

I offered a gas safety check at £70 and quote to fix any issues, but they want me to go round and survey the job and quote to sort it out
