my grandad had this boiler fitted just before we bought his house, he never knew how it all worked and neither do we.
Today it has been on 0 status all day so we have had no heating. It seems to just go onto 0 for no reason when none of the settings on thermostat have been changed and heating set to be on constant.
the only other status ive seen it on in the past is c, either with flashing boiler light or constant.

In the manual it says 0 means standby and no demand for heating..but i do want heating..how can i get it to come on properly?

call in a gas safe registered engineer,could be many things causing this,sadly for you this is probably the worst boiler ever made,it is tat so could cost a few quid to sort out

ah not what i wanted to hear! How much does it cost on average for a service?
