Bunker

On the same estate as previous post (monarch etc) I also serviced yesterday an Ideal De Dietrich - never been round one of those before either. Bit much for a 5 bed house. That had a Riello G10 on it which was fitted with a 1.75 60AR so I stuck a Danfoss S on that. There what looked like a test point on the fron door so stuck my FGA in there only to find the CO rocket up then settle on 0. I then found a hole in the flue so used that instead and settled on a good Co2, air etc but CO still zero......I think I burnt out my CO sensor!!! (Kane 250).

You talking about the plug next to the sight glass?

That's for checking the combustion chamber pressure.

You banged your FGA direct into the main flame there mi amigo........

I have a few of them on my books..... but never seen one in a 5 bed house....
and as croppie says....think you wrecked your FGA!!! look on the bright side....it was only a kane... :stooge_curly:

At least that boiler came with it's own flue brush!
And that no previous engineer has nicked it lol.

250 on zero equals oh bugger, but if kane have been servicing it for you theyll replace it for free normally, not sure about anyone else, hence why my kane always goes back to kane . time for a 455 or 457, much better toys and cheaper to service
