I have a combi boiler which is losing pressure rapidly, condensate is losing 3 litres of water per minute, I phoned ideal service department and they tell me main heat exchanger is knakerd, however I turned off the cold water supply going into boiler so it is effectively only doing heating now and it is working ok ,obviously without giving out any hot water to taps e.t.c , I find this confusing as it wasn't working atall before I shut off cold water inlet valve, it now seems to not be losing water pressure either, any suggestions as to why this might be , im confused.com:annoyed:
