Hi,

I issue with the boiler is there is a leak from where the pump connects into the manifold. I have been advised its best to change the pump & manifold.

I've never done this before and can't find the instructions anywhere, they are not listed on the MI's.

Pumps striaght forward, but its the manifold i'm concerned about, sas anyone done this before??

Its looks like its just 2 pipe that connect into it but i wanted to make sure before i do the work.

Pls advise someone

Defo more than just two connections. The plate hex connects to the manifold as well.
Make sure you order up full hydraulic seal kit and use plenty of silicone grease.

I did icos /isar course at hull years ago and they gave us the original engineers manuals , I have just had a look and it just does a pump head swap , which knowing what a nightmere it could be this is the first route I would go down , but sorry not changed the full pump and manifold

I did one on an Isar a couple of months ago it was a pig to do

If it has a system wilo pump head you will get away with just swopping the pump head over but if it is the older MP61 pump the securing pins are thinner so the new screws will not go into the old manifold. in this case use the new pump head and spacer and refit the old securing screws. this will save you changing the whole manifold.
