Ideal Imini no hot water????

Morning chaps

Had a call out to the above boiler yesterday with no hot water. C/H working fine

Popped the front cover off, run the hot tap, internal pipe work from burner to H/W heat ex was hot but the H/W heat ex was cold.

Burner fires up as should, fan runs as should & showing NO fault codes.

Was thinking blocked H/W heat ex but the flow at all outlets is fine. Could it still be a blocked heat ex?

might be blocked on the ch side of the dhw.

Had the same last week was told no hw got there not going to fault firing seemly working correct but no hw. It was a sticky diverter bypassing around htg, prob a part blocked hw hex as well. Shut iso on boiler to confirm, removed diverter pull apart clean up with wire wool on pin regrease now all good.

Idea engineer came round Friday, said it was the D/V, changed the D/V all working fine. He also said that some of them had problems with the D/V, maybe a bad batch or something.
