not getting any temp out of hot water taps and boiler display has L9 showing. has anybody had this problem
 
Hi there, I have the same problem. It has just happened this evening. In the manual it shows as a heat exchanger overheat. You can get further info at Ideal website follow this link

probably heat exchanger blocked was system powerflushed ?
 
Sorted mine out, it was the pump that was knackered. new pump and it works now.
 
get rid of boiler,they are c""p.not come across one thats lasted more than 5yrs.
parts are very expensive.
 
just attended a call out to split heat exchanger, boiler is 7 years old! not a good reflection on ideal
