Another ideal boiler problem after the pcb one the other day. When heatings on the gage is slowly rising. Do you reckon its nacked or just needs recharging. ? You guys had much problems with the vessels ?
I know its a boiler off to replace as well so worse case ill be fitting one under the boiler. Cheers.

Press the schrader valve in and if water comes out it needs replacing if not drain down, check pressure, top up if req

You haven't got to drain down and remove boiler

You can fit an external expansion vessel of same size

How far isthe gauge rising too? You will get some pressure increase. If it's getting to 3bar from 1bar, for example, then I'd suspect the vessel needs re-charging! Only other possibility would be a blockage in the vessel suply tube :)
