Got one of these contraptions booked in for tomorrow with a fault of no heating, hot water works fine aparently . Am fully expecting the usual ideal bag of nails .
Do these have any common faults regarding no heating?

They do have a motorized diverter valve, that would be my first port of call! Just check to see if the flue is in a void before you do anything, you can AR it and walk away then!

Iirc an its been a while since I saw one they have the grey topped Honeywell 3 ports.

Think they have built in programmers on most models just check that's working if ok as said already probably the diverter valve

Most common fault is the room stat turned down low

Not sure if it's on this model but it may operate in a hot water priority mode. If that's not satisfied it won't switch to heating.....? I'd have to check out mi's to be certain H4S :)

yep flue in a void , 3 inspection hatches in the bedroom

this boiler is becoming a pain in the back end , expansion vessel had gone so replaced it and was working fine for couple days and pop no heating again . Gone back noticed the diverter wasnt switching over so put a synchro motor on and worked fine for 24 hours then had another call back
Pressure was low again this time , tennant informs me that he had topped it up and pressure never holds . Tried to fob this job off but has been lumbered on me and unfamiliar with these boilers which doesnt help so any suggestions where else to look??

Absolute pain in the what nots to work on. What happened to the ease of the old classics?

I believe you need a special, extra large, axe to work on these particular boilers

Check the prv isn't dripping once the heating is up to temp they do this sometimes. If the connection the the expansion vessel is a flexi pipe check it hasn't become blocked and failing that I'd say either you have a leak on the sytem or the heat ex has failed and leaking system pressure into the condensate
