What do you guys think off these boilers? Have fitted a few over the last 6 months and found them great in fitting, size and price. ( also 5yr warrantee ) Not had a single problem so far, my only concern is no stainless steel heat exchanger.:shocked3:

My number one choice since I binned baxi off , 7 year warranty sells it for most customers still get the odd one wanting a valliant

Thanks, glad to hear you like them as well. Have you been on any of their courses ? If yes are they worth the bother ?

i did about 2 year ago think it was over in hull . and yea it was ok , usual ,got some good freebies

I did the course on them spot on well laid out free lunch ect, i have put a few of these in now as others are saying no real problems filling loops were sticking on a few(logic plus) .The pressure gauge can jump up and down when running but overall a good boiler, very easy to strip down.

its not a bad boiler for 7 year warranty,
next year ideal are bringing out the Ideal Vogue that if im correct according to ideal rep this will have a stainless giannoni heat exchanger. and this will have the 7 year warranty and the logic plus will revert back to the 5 year warranty

I find them to be noisy compared to most boilers, i actually think the pro combi which is basically the same boiler is superior to a logic plus

I try to fit these as much as poss (unless tenant wants something different). Good price, Good size, nice to install & always find run very well. Only thing I find with them is the central heating flow & return valves can often weep a little, but nothing a quick 1/4 turn don't sort.

in what way just interested to hear your opinion why.

Wrong. The pro combi has a few significant differences, the quality of the water set and the condensate trap isn't siphonic I believe. The pro combi is a bargain, but a lesser boiler than the logic, which is a lesser boiler to the logic +

How can u compare a pro combi with the logic? There far from same inside

I've fitted a few, they've all been noisy compared to other boilers I've fitted,my first thought on firing it up was it sounds like an aeroplane, =s wierd that you guys don't seem to agree with me on this. If I wanted a cheap boiler I'd pick a pro combi over a logic, just my opinion. If we all agreed on what boilers we all liked I guess the market would be dead lol. It was because of you lot on this forum I convinced my boss to sell some logic plus' lol because you were saying they were pretty good. they're not rubbish I just don't think they're great

I have a niggle with the Logic! The flippin pressure gauge is in a stupid place!! Otherwise they're proving a good buy :)!

I have one in my loft and i can hear it going downstairs in front room, the pressure gauge rattled a lot so just changed that with newer one and its not skipped a beat for years. I like them except for the noise. Im told the vogue is much quiter by the rep but not fitted one yet. Im on a course in january

Oh and it takes ages to get water hot downstairs but in its defense it is essentially on the third floor. (Summer time too before it's mentioned its winter) in facr when my mother in law comes round she moans how long it takes to get hot compared to her worcester bosch which is also in her loft.

A lot of the time it is not the boiler but the pipe run that causes it to take ages for the water to come through.

Yeah I figured it could be that, our cielings are higher than innlaws sonit would be a further run than theirs.

Preheat?

It saddens me the amount of plastic in the logics nowadays, in fact I've not fitted any since they changed over.

Just vogues for me at the moment but the time will come when i need a cupboard fit boiler and it wont be the automatic choice it once was.
