Hello
I have a Ideal Logic Plus Combi which is approx 2 1/2 years old.
I am waiting for the Gas Engineer to come out but in the meantime would like to have some idea what might be up with my boiler.
There are a 2 main issues and i don't know if they are related.
Firstly the hot water only gets up about 44 degrees then drops to 40 and fluctuates between every few seconds. I can hear the boiler making different noises. If i turn the flow down it will get up to 65 degrees but if i then turn the tap on full i get
Flow/Return Diff > 50 oC and the boiler turns off.
The other issues is that every few days the central heating system is completely losing pressure. It doesn't slowly lose pressure it seems to go all at once. There doesn't appear to be any leaks anywhere. Ive no idea where the water is going but there does seem to be a lot coming out of the condensing pipe but i don't know how much is normal.
The boiler is also making some very strange loud noises and i get the fault code
FL Loss post Stabilisation

Any help would be much appreciated.

John

Unfortunately you will need to wait for your gas engineer. Gas repairs are only discussed in a private section of the forum for registered gas safe engineers.

Ok, thanks for the reply Simon. The engineer is coming on Monday but I just wanted a bit of knowledge in case they said it was all down the installation etc because one is the faults is low pressure. I am a bit sceptical of any sort of warranty as in my experience they try to pass the blame.
