How do I get rid of the service alert on the display on a logic +?

Neither, have to put boiler in min rate mode .. what awful boilers they are!!!

Exactly, like you do when you service it.

Lol indeed.. but the servicing instructions are crap.. you have to hunt to find out how to put it in minimum rate/service mode (it's at the back of the book - why?).

I should have ID'd it for being crap and sold her a Worcester lol

Why hide the service info? To stop have-a-go heroes trying to fiddle with it. Vaillant put the Installer mode "password" in the manual, easy to find. Guess what happens?

I'd still rather fit a Logic than a Worcester. Although their service engineers / department are proving themselves to be complete A-holes...

To be fair though, if I can find the info so can have-a-go-hero. So in my world it makes no sense to make it harder for the engineer. I mean, turn the dial to 10 o clock, fully clockwise and back to 10 o clock - I chuckled to myself when I read that.

It was a first year service as woman wants to sell flat and keep her boiler warranty. Turned to the service page to see the commission sheet blank. Advised her to contact her installer asap or kiss her warranty goodbye.

Absolutely hate getting baxi duo tecs into service mode.takes me about 5 -10 attempts to get that quick turn just right.

I normally twist the wrong one first a couple of times before realising!
