ideal mini c24 hot water

it can fill a bath with 50 degrees hot water but when taking a shower it runs hot and cold the tennant says!.

i found the housing on the flow microswitch broke and barely hanging on but enough to fire hot water.
sort of not right but tennants moaning about it although i ran a tap consistantly for 20 mins and not much variation in temp?
any ideas?

Is it just the shower than is going hot/cold? Is it a thermostatic shower?

Checked thermistors?
Checked temperature differential across the plate heat exchanger?

no, it will do it on the taps if run full pelt.
look at burner, when it drops it cools but in general very hot water for 80% of flow time.

keep thinking its the flow switch vibrating from pin as case broke at circlip retainer?

P-Hex probably ... most likely primary circs reaching max temp and cutting out coz the primary circs aren't transferring enough heat across... Not an exact diagnosis but best guess

It's been a while but I think you have to take the gas valve out to get to it!! ?

maybe just the burner supply from the valve redsaw?

P-hex are easy on the mini just 2 bolts fairly cheap about £50
