Ideal Mini Hot water issue

went to look at this today and a strange one indeed

fire the boiler for heating burners look fine and a nice blue flame

but when i just run the hot water the burners come on and the flames lift on the left hand side of the burners

and just tepid water comes out

Any answers will be gratefully received

First port of call is check the burner pressures are correct. If that's ok then check the burner, injectors and heat exchanger are all clear. I'd wash the burner or that air in a can is pretty good.

will do that, i would imagine when called for heating the burners are at a constant rate as opposed to hot water demand they run a bit more hotter if you will to satisfy water

What was the outcome of that Chelsea? I had similar fault today where htg and hw worked but only warm. BP was fine but didn't drop when the hw selector switch was turned to min, the green led washing flashing 4x per sec. MI fault chart said faulty gas valve. Hope that sorts it
