Hi,
Just been out to look at a bungalow with an Ideal W CF 450 (GC 41 407 51) NG Boiler, but notice it has 2 x flow and 2 x return pipes, which I find a little perplexing?
The old lady requires a new boiler (clearly this one is ancient at over 25 years, and hugely inefficient), and was hoping I'd get a manual for it which would explain the 4 pipes, but no luck.
Anyone have a copy of this manual, or a clue as to what the pipework config is without going in the cramped attic and pulling up all her insulation to trace the pipes?
bear in mind that the hot water cylinder is in an airing cupboard at a level slightly below the boiler, so likely not gravity pipes for water and pumped central heating.
Also noticed that no pump or 3-way valve in airing cupboard, so likely in the loft too...
