Hi All

This is my first post so apologies for any mistakes!
Please can someone help me identify my shower valve. The shower is leaking and I have changed the washer at the back, but it is still leaking. There is no make on the shower so cannot identify the valve. Any help will be valued! Thanks

Well, looking at your shower, it does look very similar to a tap body or 'tap reviver' from a BS5412-type tap (also known as non-rising spindle), so I would imagine it might work, and fail, in a similar way.

You could also check that the thing the washer is bolted to goes up and down properly when you turn the taphead.

Ok will check the valve mentioned. I checked and seems to go up and down smoothly?
