Idiot alert - drilled pre cast flue

As you can tell by the title I have been stupid and drilled the pre cast flue for my gas fire. I am building a fake chimney breast and in my haste to put up the frame work I fixed 2 batons using plugs and screws into my pre cast flue. The holes will be hidden in the new breast anyway but what is the best way to repair this? The wall is dot and dabbed plasterboard so i can open the plasterboard to get to the holes.

I am not a plumber/gas I am just wanting some advice on what's best to do

fill them with fire cement then retest the flue

Or you can get fire rated silicon

Which would be better? The hole size that needs filling is 6mm

Best bet in my opionion. Just need to drill a larger hole poss 10mm or 12mm(can't remember) pop it in and tighten up.
I use them when no test point on flue (single wall). Beats a bit of silver foil tape.

You're much better off getting a gsr to check and repair it for you.
