If you could build your own boiler

Bit of whimsey....but if you could take all the boilers on the market and take the best bits and build your own, what would those parts be from which boilers? or expand and make your own parts too.

If you talk to some of the really ancient plumbers on here you will probably find that they did in a way, I know the company that I first worked for used to convert solid fuel sectional boilers like the old Robin Hoods to oil or gas

perfect boiler would be a remeha with a clamp on flue like a vailant and valves that screwed onto tails rather than the jig they come with
