illegal gas fitters forum

[migoplumber]

our company had inspection today.
gas safe man said having a clamp down in blackpool and preston.
also stated that he had seen a forum where local genuine gas fitters had been reporting illegal gas workers in our area.
have now searched for this site for an hour. no luck
is he pulling my leg or am i just being too simple too find it ?
any help either way appreciated.

could it be diy doctor just had a look and dont seem to have a verification process but still have a gas advice section.

i think i recall a guy from b'pool on here around october onward reporting non gsr's, could have been liverpool though?

More than likely ultimate handyman , he posts vids on youtube giving gas advice and has a site encouraging diy gas works . More than likely if they dont get advice off here then they go on there.

To me it just goes to show the leniency of gas safe not clamping down on these forums and youtube videos as usual all about the £££££££££'s

Perhaps we should make our own Youtube video both warning against the dangers of illegal gas work and advertising the forum at the same time. We could also include lots of gas safety advice.

Wonder who'd be pretty enough to star in it?

i think it would be a good idea if we made a sticky in the gsr only forum as much info as you guys can find out about illegals i will report it to gas safe
