improvements to admin ( paper work / pricing / billing )

hi all! I'm new to this sight and I'm wondering if people know of any apps or programs to help with pricing jobs you've done.
the way I'm currently working out a job cost is a very long drawn-out proses. plus lots of time consuming paper work.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I like the look of the HBXL software, don't think they have an app and it's a bit expensive. I wonder if these new windows based tablet/laptop crosover things can run apps and standard pc software?
