Installing a washing machine and dishwasher

Hello,

I'm installing a new kitchen which will have a dishwasher and washing machine.
As I'm cutting/teeing into the cold mains 15mm pipe (before the kitchen sink taps) to feed the dishwasher and washing machine is it worth fitting a isolation valve with a built-in check valve?

Are check valves needed? Thought appliances had built in air gaps with majority of hoses being wras approved.

Still some without air gaps and who says the next one will be correct best to always fit them

Another quick question if you don’t mind. Where I have a washing Machine & a dishwasher. Would you advocate a splitter valve serving both or would you create a separate feed for each with own isolation valves?

Either is fine just go for a brass y / splitter
