Hi.

Im thinking of changing my vented hot water cylinder to a unvented indirect one due to pressure issues in my bathroom..

Is changing it over pretty much just connecting it to the mains water in the loft and swapping over the cylinder? Is it fairly like for like in that sense?

also, any tips on what size to get? The cylinder now I think is a 90L one. Just one bathroom in the house situated on the 1st floor. The cylinder is in the ground floor. We have a bath and a shower. Not asking for much. Just so me and my wife can have a decently timed shower each.

Any my advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows what it would roughly cost for a plumber to uninstall the old cylinder and install the new one?. I'm in Islington in London

Thanks again.

Mark.

Without seeing it you could be looking at not a lot of change from £1.5k

Best to get a few quotes from G3 qualified plumbers and then come back and ask us.

There's a lot to be taken into consideration.
