Didn't come with any instructions for leg set up but found this picture. Does this look like the right way they get put together?

Yip. Always put timbera under the feet and batten the wall out though as thos legs are crap

As mutley said batten out the back front and sides. if its a nice thick bath they don't need those uprights. Also if the baths got some flex in it don't butt it up to the tiles because they rub and creak.

Cheers chaps, went fine. What does those side bits actually do? Provide support against flex? Didn't see to make any difference as far as I could tell.

Out of interest what is your proceedure for battoning around the bath? Do you get it exactly the height you want and level, lean under bath, mark short line on wall left and right side, remove bath, use level to join up marks and fix batton? Or is there a quicker, easier method?

Measure height of bath panel, allowing for flooring. Measure up the wall to the desired height allowing for height of bath, draw line and then batten. Then drop bath in and sort legs out.

That's how I do it, but I'm always open to different ways if they save time and effort.
