Aqua Mechanica

Just found

  • Core Gas CCN1 Initial Training & Assessment for £836.35 including VAT and Certification
  • Domestic Gas Appliances (CEN1/CKR1/WAT1/HTR1) Initial Training and Assessment for £552.00 including VAT and Certification
  • Domestic Gas Combustion Performance Analysis (CPA1) for £164.25 including VAT and Certification
Best I've found in my area (South East London)

Hope this helps someone

Will let you know what I think of the course when I'm finished. Did my Part L with them last year, were good then so I'm expecting a decent level of training.

totally off topic, but 26 years ago i was working in bexley hospital as a nursing assistant - whilst at college. whats been done with the place ??

we do CCN1, CPA1, CEN1, HTR1, CKR1 4-5 days for training and assessment for £900 incl VAT at South Lanarkshire College, East Kilbride, nr Glasgow

again and again without out a portfolio and a engineer they could be charging 2p for the course its all totally pointless without a portfolio and the experience gained with an engineer

Bit far for me to travel Kirkgas, cheers though ;-)

The centre has provided me with a simple form that my company sign and a gas safe registered engineer signs and puts their name to the hours I have done on gas work and then once signed off with all relevant gas safe registration numbers, I am allowed to take the CCN1 and appliances I want with centre training. I don't even think it has to be signed off before I do the course, just within a certain time period after the course but obviously will not receve certification until done. Lucky for me I have done alot of the work required already with maybe just another 40 hours of work to do.

I don't personally have details of courses offered, I am web-master for intaplumb.

You can find course details on the site as well as price information, and you can contact Inaplumb directly for further information.

just that every centre that offers cheap ACS seem to reduce the training to a bare minimum. I want to learn and leave the centre feeling i got value for money not just feel like ive been rolled off a conveyor belt! I have paid that little bit more for a more valued experience in the past.

cheers, its normally 3 days assessment so i guess its 4 days training. the centre i went to did 6 days training when i first went and 4 for my re-assessment and were very thorough (St Helens College). The course your suggesting doesnt look like one which breaks it down to the bare minimum like 2 days as some do!!!
