I think they are good boilers. Easy to service, and by the looks of it, easy to fit/commission.
As with any lesser known boiler, from an installers point of view, it is always hard to persuade customers to have anything other than what they know/heard of.

The only downside of the intergas, it is a bit on the ugly side, best in a cupboard, and not pride of place in the kitchen

Have fitted one in my own house & serviced a few at work, good boilers, just remember not to have the heating pipes rising immediately from the boiler to upstairs rads as they will circulate with the DHW operated, try to drop them as low as possible before rising, personally i think this would be a preferable method to fitting a non return valve as described in manual.Agree they`re not the best looking boiler & need the optional extra pipe cover(£15 approx) to finish it off.

I've been fitting them for 2 years, love them.

Well engineered, simple, only had 2 small faults, sorted next day.

They are very easy to sell to the public, once you mention the lack of expensive crap to go wrong, they're sold.

It's the way the boiler is set up.

You get the boiler, then you can choose to hang a jig/ casing on the wall first, with the donut inside, then hang the boiler on it, attaching a flexi between them, or you can get the boiler on it's own, then get the robo- kit where you get an expansion vessel to fit elsewhere on a wall or in a cupboard.

The boiler valves are different for each option though.

Works out less than £900 for the boiler, exp kit and standard flue, clock is standard.

If you want the boiler somewhere like an attic, you set the clock to constant and fit a timer/ stat in the house.

Also, the software is easily altered so you can tell it to be a system boiler, multipoint, or a combi by pressing a couple of buttons
