Came accross one off these today doing a LLSC.
Quite impressed with it, looks a decent and well made boiler .
need a wee dumpy if its tight for clearances on the right to check IP/WP though , be easier if the TNs and adjustment point faced forwards.
had a quick look through the MIs, mentions it's not permissable to use a rad with a pair of ls's as a bypass, that an a-b should be fitted as far from boiler as possible.
the pipework disappeared under the floor with no sign off an a-b, just the normal hall rad with ls's and room-stat.
fairly big mob doing the installs, contracting to an HA. think they ve installed around 50 so far, but if there s no a-b fitted, it sounds like the Manufacturers guarantee is out the window without it.
surely they must have read the MIs before bashing on ? going to be a bit off bother if they haven t when the boilers start locking out from overheating and reduced flow lol

Yes the intergas boiler range do require a external bypass as there garauntee would be void if not fitted.
But its not on the list to check for a LLSC as you know

cheers mate , aye i was just having a quick gander through the MI to check the clearances and CO2 values and spotted the bit about the a-b.
just looks a quality well made boiler, front casing is a dream to remove/refit.
how do the compare in price to the WB/Vaillant cartel ?

i know what you mean about checking the inlet and working pressures but if you just slacken the top and bottom nut on the gas valve you can always spin the valve around to make it easier for yourself

rules on auto bypasses are as stated in building regs, MIs just reitterating the regs. Only other issue in installing them is not to put to much pressure on flow/retun connections or they loosen up, with obvious results. they even leave a plugged hole to loosen the pump bleed screw :)
