Just been on the manufacturers day with intergas, looks a cracking little boiler interchangeable parts between different boilers, no diverter etc, really impressive, in fact it's so good I am going to scrap my ideal wm and fit one at home.

I actually know the guy who runs the south east branch really nice lad and meant to be brilliant boilers

Wasn't impressed myself, looked like it had been made in shed. And the controls are very complicated.

Never worked on one or fitted one. Any more opinions on them? They advertise a lot, I know that!

I think the biggest problem intergas have, is their adverts. They look like they've been designed by a 10 year old on MS Paint, and so do the boilers tbf. If they spent more money on professional marketing, they might get better installer response, cos at the moment, for those who aren't in the know, you would assume they were equivalent to ferroli/ravenheat.

I would also never choose to install a boiler where the flue outlet won't fit the old hole cos its not in the centre, unless it was a new install on a fresh wall.

to make it fit centre you just use the offset flue kit.
in fact the open vent boiler can't be fitted with the flue to the left where it exits the boiler because the flow and return run up that space.

ii fit em. they have flue that goes throu centre flue hole using a 45 elb. think they are ok. but dont like expansion vessel being at the back of boiler. they condense on hot water. think tho cos theyonily have 4 moving parts am doing myself out of a future repair income. they are simple to setup anduse. they take opentherm controls

my car was made in britain had it 6 years and its been bulletproof ,my van was made in france and quite frankly is tat

It might only have 4 moving parts, it just doesn't have divertor. But. All the same thermistors, fan, pump etc. So your only taking away the divertor. Which should make it more reliable, but who knows.

no secondary heat ex, pump fan gas valve, flow switch.also large bore heat ex. yes time will tell
