Do you document all materials or is it just a matter of materials and labour?

Just go to staples, they do a simple one duplicate with no carbon paper required for £4 .

put on there what you want

If its a small job then no itemisation is required but if its a complete bathroom or boiler change then the customer will need it itemised to prove any guarantee claims

Thats what i was kind of getting at i was not sure how simple i should write them.

So smaller jobs no real itemisation

Bigger jobs how much itemisation is required down to e.g fittings isolation valves or not?

yes just put everything down . date, time ,your name ,thier name, labour, parts ,thankyou ,sign it ,100day guarantee or whatever ,thats it.

i normaly put, shower make model and taps, bath etc make and model, group fittings together and put in pipe work and anything else then add labour
