Hi just wondered if anyone uses software package that does landlords certs aswell as invoices? trying to save myself from endless hours of paperwork!!!!

I use invoice2go for invoicing and gas checker for certs. I might move to easy gas for certs once my year is up with gas checker as there are a few things that annoy me about it.

do these two programmes work together or do you have to input all details twice ie customer info etc???????????????????????????????????????????

No they don't. I find that most of my llgs certs are for the same clients anyway, so just save them as a contact to your device and import them.

Invoice2go let's you save a client list.

There is a program advertised in back of GS mag that does both but i can't remember name of it and its expensive.

Hi
SliQ Invoicing will do the invoicing bit for you but not the certification part. SliQ are considering designing an add on to the invoicing software for plumbers and electricians certificates so I am interested to understand the requirements of plumbers and electricians.
What is the GS Mag?

I use rodosha.com for invoicing and doing my accountancy. Its very simple. There are new features added very often. Gas certs should be available soon. You can try 30 trial, I think its £15/year afterwards

I use MS Access for it. Literally nothing you can not do but it needs auf bit of elbow grease to design forms and connect them to the database.

Program's are all good but what happens if you loose your device or get robbed out the van. Are they backed up anywhere???

I use Easygas, all certs are emailed to the customer, and myself as back up and also downloaded to Dropbox (cloud). Sure beats trawling through piles of old cert books looking for a copy of a cert when asked.

Im still waiting for the day when you can get your phone out print from a template to a printer (cheap) in van. Sounds simple but not found a simple solution yet.

Plenty of compact printers, just none with AirPrint yet. Annoying.

I have the printing bit sorted from andriod.
(Sorry for revivng old thread)
Can now print from any app including invoicing with a battery powered HP printer and phone or tablet.
Obviously this js with andriod and I dont have to contemplate any of the apple bollox regarding not allowing you to fart without their permission
