I'd love to get clear rather than cloudy ice cubes from my FF, is this possible by adding a filter(s) to the incoming supply?
Does anyone know or recommend a filter specialist or some method of achieving this?
(FYI - I change the internal filter when my Samsung FF requests.)
ATB to you all.

Have you tried freezing the incoming water to see if it’s a supply problem or the machine needs cleaning

To have clear ice cubes, you need directional freezing. eg: from the top down.
This pushes all the impurities and air down out of the ice - or which ever direction the ice is being cooled from.

I doubt very much that your refrigerator will be able to achieve this.
The water will be frozen from outside in, so all the air and impurities will be trapped inside.
( mostly air ).

Thanks Oz, so to get clear ice I either need to buy an ice maker or buy the ice 🧊?

Hi Jim,

I'm not sure of what product you buy that will guarantee clear ice cubes.
Filters on water supply will not make the ice clear.

Either buy clear ice from wherever / whoever claims they can do it or find someone who sells a directional freezer that will remove impurities as the water freezes.

You can get stand-alone ice makers which will do perfectly clear ice cubes . They are generally called gourmet ice machines. Generally not very cheap!
