Inexplicably a wok gas hob on my cooker is stuck - I have been unable to pull it out even with a crowbar (I kept the tension exerted to reasonable levels).
That wok hob has never worked properly, i.e. the flame that came out of it when the cooker was brand new, was too weak for proper stir-frying. These days, it barely fires.
When a technician carried out last year's gas inspection he said this needed fixing and, if this were not done, they might have to cut off my gas to make me comply.
I have had that hob capped with foil for a couple of years now, since it is useless.
Does the gas inspection company have valid cause to cut off my gas because one gas hob doesn't perform well?

They will cut off the gas to the hob only they shouldn’t turn the whole gas off and yes it’s unsafe
