Is this pipework correct for a shower

We are having a shower fitted and the pipework in our loft looks very fragile, is this correct?

Very untidy unclipped no insulation is the hot feed just teed in?
We would only fit a pump in a loft very much as last resort.

Was there really no alternative to fitting the pump the a roof? Frost protection is essential in such a case.

Yes it was a plumber, he is coming back to insulate it, but I thought it looked a mess. I have sent an email to the company but haven't yet had a response.
I don't want to be fobbed off so was asking for professional advice.

It's really really poor, I don't see one pipe clip and all that unsecured pipework will move whenever the pump pulses on and off and will probably work something loose eventually.

This looks like a Stuart Turner Showermate pump. Lots of stuff wrong/not to manufacturers instructions. Warranty will be void. And you’ll likely have constant battles with air.

Any pics of the cold water tank? Is it raised? The pump needs to be a minimum of 0.5m below the bottom of the cold water tank.

The cold/hot feeds should be in 22mm and dedicated supplies with strainers.

The supply from the cylinder should be an air free supply, usually means using/adding a side tapping or flange.

If you post pics of the cyclinder/cold water tank and associated pipework, we can advise further.
