Hi,
Just joined to ask this, so sorry if I'm in the wrong place. I'm a homeowner (read: idiot) with a water pump making a... funny noise.
I've taken a video of it, here:
It's only started doing it recently. It does it for 5-10 minutes after the hot water's been running for a while, like after a shower.
It doesn't sound like a healthy thing for a water pump to be cycling on and off every few seconds like that. Google tells me that "short cycling" is a thing and it might have something to do with air in the pressure tank. How worried do I need to be, on a scale of "it's fine, you numpty" to "evacuate the street"?
Thanks.
