ISE hot water tap

Has anyone had any success stripping down and changing the seals on the InSinkerator hot/cold tap HC 1100 or the hot tap GN 1100 .The parent company say that no seals are available. That is not very environmentally friendly and very expensive to replace £300.
Perhaps we should make a list of manufacturers that have a similar approach to ISE's throw away culture.

That list would be very very long kevin!
You dont say whats actually wrong with the tap. How do you know its the seals
Just get some o rings and stick them on. Either that or just ring for an insinkerator service.
Loads of them on their site.Failing that you can buy a new tap off ebay for £100. 2 year warranty with it too.

Do you have any seals for these taps or know where they can be sourced other than through Insinkerator?

I've never had to change them but I know the seals are just o rings. Change as you would any other tap.
You can get the seals from a plumbers merchants.
