JAGUAR BOILER ,,,I need a plumber/combi engineer in the Bolton (north west)area,,,

My Jaguar combi only gives me hot water when the heating is on , and intermittently goes to cold, :crazy::angry_smile:,thankyou

Hi Alexandra, I Do-not live in your area, but I am surprised that you still have a Jaguar Boiler that is still Working, This unit was made for the Plumb-Center over 10 years ago, had lots of problems and was took off the market, you could still get parts but my advise would be to replace the boiler as the one you have got will turn into a money pit !!

Hi Alexandra, I Do-not live in your area, but I am surprised that you still have a Jaguar Boiler that is still Working, This unit was made for the Plumb-Center over 10 years ago, had lots of problems and was took off the market, you could still get parts but my advise would be to replace the boiler as the one you have got will turn into a money pit !!

Didn't they used to come with a free toy?

Yes they did , it was the best thing about the boiler,
understand it was made by Glow-Worm for the Wolseley group only lasted about 2 years.

Crumbs then I must be one of the lucky ones, ours is a good 12yrs old now and has run almost faultlessly for all that time, I've had to change the diverter valve diaphram once in that time which cost all of £4.50 so no biggy there.
Only now am I thinking I may have a expansion tank problem due to large pressure changes when its going from cold to hot.
