Kitchen sink - slow draining

So I've posted before about blocked sinks I've failed to unblock

Well, what do you think of this, today had a very slow draining sink

Thought, here I go again!!

I noticed that the waste was loose, so I tightened the screw fitting which joins the waste to the plastic underside.

Low & behold no slow draining

Air must be a factor

Any comment

& yes, I got lucky!

The bit that was slack rocket , was it leaking ?

Yes, just a drip but called for slow draining.

If that was the case surely the overflow would cause a problem? What do you use to unblock? Iv never failed yet and working for a local authority was doing at least 4 a day for a couple of years with a sani snake.

I tried the lot in my failed attempts, everything from plunging, taking pipes apart to one shot.
