Hi all,
I have an electric hot water tank (no gas in building) with an electric pump that is activated when I turn on the hot water taps (cold water has high enough pressure not to need the pump). Recently thought the tap in the kitchen is not activating the hot water pump so it just dribbles out. I can go to the bathroom and turn on the sink tap or the bath tap which gets the pump going but obviously this is a pain in the proverbial. Once it is running it is fine but I don't want to go to the bathroom every time I need hot water in the kitchen.
The layout of the flat is, hot water tank, bathroom then kitchen at the end.
I don't know what has changed to cause this but did have the bathroom refurbed over the summer but I think it has worked since then.
Any advice would be gratefully received!
